Hero in the Field: Eva Nangalo

This short documentary is about an incredible woman,Eva Nangalo, and her efforts to save lives every day as a midwife, farmer and mother in her community of Nakaseke, Uganda. Despite having extremely limited resources, tools, staff, and medication to help her patients, she still fights for them tirelessly, providing medical services and even advocating for their care through protest. This is an important story bringing awareness to the struggles and major risks Uganda faces with female and reproductive health.
